"Sha'arei Teshuvah (Gates of Repentance) is one of three works, along with Iggeret ha-Teshuvah and Sefer ha-Yir'ah, that belong to the standard Jewish ethical works of the Middle Ages and is still popular among Orthodox Jewish scholars. It was written by Yonah of Gerondi to atone for his earlier attacks on Maimonides and to emphasize his repentance.
Composed: Middle-Age Spain (c.1243 - c.1263 CE)"
